Ironhouse Distillery are making beautiful and strange spirits right on the very east coast of Tasmania facing out into the Tasman Sea. Being right on the edge of things, it forces you to be fiercely independent and creative – something many Tasmanians proudly claim. Ironhouse make every single aspect of their astonishingly good gin – they control each stage of the process from the new make spirit to the final product. Ironhouse debuted on the burgeoning gin scene with three different takes on what gin could be. It demanded a system of packaging design but also something that reflected just how interesting and bespoke their Gin really is. If you can only taste one, (don’t just try one, they are all amazing) you absolutely must try the Hopped Gin, it is an absolute favourite of ours.
